A get-together celebrating Indian culture was organised by the Bandar Seri Begawan Indian Association (BSBIA) at the Bridex Hall yesterday night, in conjunction with India’s 77th Independence Day.
High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam Alok Amitabh Dimri was the guest of honour.
Chairman of the Organising Committee Sabu Kuttemperoor said the annual event celebrates the heritage and history of the Indian community in Brunei.
Around 500 association members along with their families and friends attended the event and enjoyed the evening’s performances. – Adib Noor
