The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports’ Community Development Department (JAPEM) organised a fun day for children of different abilities yesterday.
The event at Fun Blocks Edutainment, Hua Ho Manggis Mall was organised in conjunction with World Children’s Day on November 20 and International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3.
Some 75 children registered with the Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) and Pusat Bahagia joined the event with their parents and guardians.
The children, dressed in different costumes, received hampers and souvenirs.
Acting Director of JAPEM Mirany Floridzah binti Abdul Rahman attended the event along with representatives from MKOKU and government agencies. – James Kon
