A closer look at ministerial procedures, services

Twenty-four participants joining the 32nd Executive Development Programme for the Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) paid an industrial visit to the Ministry of Transportation and Infocommunications (MTIC) as part of its ‘Public Policy and Governance’ week yesterday.

The visit aimed to provide opportunities for the participants to acquire knowledge and take a closer look at services and procedures that have been facilitated by the ministry.

The visit commenced with a welcoming address by Permanent Secretary at the MTIC Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof before delivering a talk on governance at the MTIC, followed by a briefing on MTIC Strategic Plan 2025 and mind-mapping activities, which included content on digital transformation, ensuring sustainability of transport and infocommunications sector, and enhancing international cooperation coordinated by Senior Special Duties Officer of MTIC Hajah Lailatul Zuraidah binti Haji Mohd Hussain.

The session concluded with a presentation of a token of appreciation by UNISSA to the MTIC followed by a tour around the premises.
