Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd (Brunei LNG) hosted its inaugural ‘One BLNG and Community Raya’ for stakeholders and the wider community in Liang Lumut, at the Liang Lumut Recreational Club (LLRC) yesterday.
Brunei LNG business partners and stakeholders attended in the morning while the communities of Mukim Lumut, Belait District and Tutong District attended the celebration later that afternoon.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Brunei LNG Adeleye Falade hosted the event alongside members of Brunei LNG’s leadership team.
In addition, the venue saw performances, games and activities held throughout the day, with meals and dishes served to enliven the festivities further.
Themed ‘Mengeratkan Silaturrahim’, the event underscored the significance of nurturing relationships. It emphasised not only the importance of building connections within immediate circles but also extending goodwill and understanding to a broader network of stakeholders.
Guests included esteemed Legislative Council (LegCo) members Yang Berhormat Haji Salleh Bostaman bin Haji Zainal Abidin and Yang Berhormat Chong Chin Yee, representatives from government agencies, village heads, as well as members of various non-governmental organisations. – Daniel Lim
