ANN/THE KOREA HERALD – On Thursday, Kia announced that it has completed a pilot initiative using Spot, a quadruped robot created by Boston Dynamics with backing from Hyundai Motor Group. This move reflects Kia’s exploration of innovative business models in cutting-edge logistics.
In collaboration with CJ Logistics, Hyundai E&C and robotics startup D.Hive, Kia loaded Spot onto CJ’s parcel electric truck. Once the delivery car arrived in a residential area, Spot carried each package to its destined household.
