Some 88 Year 7 students from Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Secondary School, Tutong District attended the nationhood briefing programme titled ‘Our Monarch, Appreciating the National Flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’, recently.
The ongoing programme is organised by the Nationhood Unit of the Strategic Communication Division at the Information Department to cultivate love towards the monarch and the nation. The programme also aims to inspire solidarity and patriotism among students.
The talk was delivered by Head of the Nationhood Unit Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris.
Topics included the monarch, procedures in hoisting the national flag and the history of the national anthem Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
Also present were the school’s Principal Hajah Amal Nuriyah binti Haji Ahmad Kumpoh and teachers.
