The Muallaf Development Division (Tarbiyah Muallaf) of the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) held a closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the basic guidance scheme for converts at the PDI multipurpose hall yesterday.
Head of Muallaf Development Division Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub presented the certificates to 39 male and 47 female converts, as well as a prize to the best course participant.
The 14-day course is aimed at guiding the converts in acquiring and refining their knowledge in Islam, particularly in Aqidah, faith and mindset.
Among the contents shared during the course are how to cleanse; prayer practices; fasting; faith practical; Tauhid; Akhlak; Islamic history; food and hygiene in Islam; Iqra’ and memorisation; and management of the deceased.
Converts wishing to participate in the course can obtain the registration form from the PDI or Dakwah offices in their districts.
