A total of 86 bags of trash were collected as part of a beach cleaning campaign held by the Minda Youth Movement (MYM) at the Los Tanjong beachfront on Sunday, in conjunction with the 39th National Day.
With over 50 participants at the event, among the items collected were bottles, food packaging, ropes, and plastic bits that had been washed up ashore. MYM hoped the campaign will serve as an inspiration for others to keep the beaches clean.
