    83 projects shortlisted for CIPTA Award 2025

    Eighty-three project entries from a pool of 97 were shortlisted for the Crown Prince Creative, Innovative Product and Technological Advancement (CIPTA) Award 2025 following a blind double review process carried out by Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

    The technical briefing for shortlisted participants, held via Microsoft Teams, saw 130 participants across the Sultanate and ASEAN member countries.

    Head of Secretariat for The Crown Prince CIPTA Award 2025 Dr Mas Munira Haji Rambli welcomed participants and provided an overview of the conference objectives and expectations.

    Head of Technical Committee for The Crown Prince CIPTA Award 2025 Pengiran Dr Rafidah binti Pengiran Haji Petra delivered the briefing, outlining the judging format, presentation guidelines and submission requirements.

    The briefing included a question-and-answer session, allowing participants to clarify details and better prepare for their presentations.

    “We are pleased with the quality and diversity of submissions received this year,” said Dr Mas Munira. “The strong response from across ASEAN demonstrates the importance of the CIPTA competition as a platform for innovative ideas and inventions.” – James Kon
