The percentage of children aged five to 11 with at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine reached 80 per cent yesterday, while 53.4 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have received three shots.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily statement yesterday.
The COVID-19 vaccination coverage rate for Brunei residents with at least three doses increased to 75 per cent while seven per cent of the populace have been administered four doses.
The statement added that there is one COVID-19 patient in Category 5 at the intensive care unit while two cases are receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
No COVID-19 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
Some 1,211 patients were declared recovered yesterday bringing the total number of recoveries to 203,742.
