The COVID-19 vaccination coverage rate for citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who have received the third dose is 75 per cent, while seven per cent had been administered the fourth vaccination.
The latest COVID-19 development in the Sultanate was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily statement yesterday.
The percentage of children aged five to 11 who have received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine stood at 80 per cent yesterday, while 53.4 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
There is one COVID-19 patient in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit, while three Category 4 cases are receiving respiratory assistance and being closely monitored.
Meanwhile, no COVID-19 fatalities have been reported in the last 24 hours.
A total of 1,011 recoveries were recorded, while the total accumulated number of recoveries stands at 204,753.
