A total of 73 pints were collected during a blood donation drive organised by Nissan Brunei at its showroom yesterday.
The campaign, held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre under the Department of Laboratory Services of the Ministry of Health (MoH), also provided free health screening.
It aimed to raise awareness on the importance of health checkups for the family, in line with Nissan’s Family Fun On the Go campaign which concluded on July 13, with special attention to the older generation through complimentary additional screenings in continuing the Grandparent’s Day.
It was sought to give back to the community by answering the MoH’s call on replenishing the blood supply. Donors received special Nissan Brunei goodie bags. – James Kon
