As of July 3, 73.3 per cent of the country’s citizens and residents had received the third dose, while 2.9 per cent have received the fourth.
Meanwhile, 75.7 per cent of children aged five to 11 have been administered with the second dose, while 50.2 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have received the third dose.
The updates were shared by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the COVID-19 press conference yesterday.
Brunei recorded 1,691 new COVID-19 cases yesterday. Some 63,125 antigen rapid test (ART) results were uploaded to the BruHealth app in the last week, of which 15.1 per cent were positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, no COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.
Some 1,091 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 164,116.
Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Ang Swee Hui was also present.
