70 attend knowledge programme

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through the Office of Career Advancement and Industrial Networking (OCeAN) in collaboration with the Women Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam organised the Knowledge Journey 2.0 programme at the university’s auditorium on Friday.

Seventy attended the programme that was delivered by facilitators from Malaysia.

The first session began with a presentation on ‘Personality Development, Family and Career Guidance based on the Concept of the Nation of Zikir’ by Head of the Siasah Syar’iyyah Department of the Academy of Islamic Studies at Universiti Malaya Professor Dr Sharifah Hayaati binti Syed Ismail.

It highlighted the importance of good intentions in carrying out a task with obedience to Allah the Almighty in a bid to receive blessings.

The second session ‘Al-Quran In Life’ was delivered by Academy of Sharifatuna Quranic Arts (ASQA) founder and Sharifah Khasif Production Sdn Bhd CEO Sharifah Khasif Fadzilah binti Syed Mohd Badiuzzaman al-Yahya.

The session touched on the importance of learning Al-Quran and its priority in personal, career and familial development. – Azlan Othman
