The Lambak Kanan Religious School held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for 68 Primary Six students yesterday.
Head of Administration Section at the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Hajah Noor Rasidah binti Haji Sharbini, the guest of honour, led the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah to officiate the event.
This was followed by the recitation of Al-Quran and Takhtim and the sprinkling of scented flowers. The ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates and souvenirs to the students.
Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for religious schools is a project of the Islamic Studies Department at MoRA since 1985.
