A total of 67 pints of blood were collected during a blood donation drive organised by Qasya Diagnostic Services Sdn Bhd yesterday.
The event from 10am to 3pm on the first floor at the Gadong Properties Centre, welcomed donors who responded to the call to support national blood reserves.
The initiative aimed to encourage community participation in life-saving efforts and to foster awareness on the importance of regular blood donation.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health called the public to help replenish blood supply currently in low level at the Blood Donation Centre and blood banks nationwide. Blood donors for all types of blood are needed.
Meanwhile, a blood donation will be held at the second floor of The One, Jalan Laksamana Abdul Razak today while a blood donation drive will be held at the office of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, Beribi Industrial Park on April 12.
The public can directly head to the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital to donate blood during working hours from 8am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 4pm.
