Some 65 male muallaf participated in the 39th Advanced Guidance Scheme II for converts held simultaneously nationwide.
Twenty-one joined in the Brunei-Muara District, 18 in the Tutong District, 16 in the Belait District and 10 in Temburong District.
The scheme was held at Darul Huda building of the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) In Brunei-Muara District and at Dakwah Unit offices in other districts.
The 14-day programme ending on August 16 is held daily except on Sunday.
The scheme provides support for the muallaf, while assisting them in understanding Islamic teachings.
Participants will also visit Wasai Wong Kadir Recreational Park in Labi, Belait District, practice for Jama’ and Qasar prayers and ablution while in the jungle. – Rokiah Mahmud
