Within a span of five hours, 61 pints of blood were collected during a blood donation campaign organised by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.
According to Honda Brunei, “The high number of donors within such a short duration marks the highest single-day contribution in Honda Brunei’s history. The achievement would not have been possible without the support of the donors. Their contributions have not only showcased the community’s spirit of solidarity but also highlighted the importance of blood donation in saving lives.”
Blood donation provides numerous benefits, not only to the recipients but also to donors.
Donating blood can help reduce the risk of heart disease, improve overall cardiovascular health, and even stimulate the production of new blood cells.
