The Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office held a roadshow at Temburong Arabic Preparatory School which saw the participation of 59 students yesterday.
Organised through the International Affairs Unit as the Secretariat for the Sub-Committee of Information of the ASEAN-Committee for Culture and Information (COCI), the event was aimed at spreading awareness on the regional body and encouraging unity.
Information Department Assistant Officer Pengiran Haji Ahmad Fadilah Akhbar bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin facilitated.
Discussions included the importance of the sense of belonging in the ASEAN community, Brunei’s role as ASEAN Chairman for 2021 and an introduction to the We ASEAN mobile app.
A quiz was also held to test the students’ understanding of ASEAN.
