Fifty-four pints of blood were collected at Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd‘s (Hengyi Industries) fourth blood donation drive at the Admin Building, Pulau Muara Besar (PMB), where staff and management were encouraged to participate and donate blood for a good cause.
Themed ‘Give Blood, Save Life’, 54 Hengyi staff and management donated blood.
Under the Hengyi Cares initiative, the blood donation drive was part of Hengyi Industries’ corporate social responsibility since 2019 to encourage and motivate staff to donate blood to help save lives, as well as help spread awareness on the importance and benefits of donating blood.
The blood donation drive was also part of the company’s third year anniversary celebration for the commissioning of Hengyi Industries’ petrochemical and refinery plant.
