Standard Chartered Bank hosted a blood donation drive at its main office recently, which saw participation from employees and walk-in donors, resulting in 50 volunteers rolling up sleeves to support hospitals and patients in need. The bank organised the blood donation drive in partnership with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre.
Standard Chartered Bank Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing Marilyn Graeme said, “Standard Chartered encourages its employees to volunteer to do good within the community through various different means. Blood products supply is in constant demand in Brunei with the need increasing continuously. Through this activity we also aim to increase the awareness of such need among our colleagues and the community in general.”
