Some 46 customs officers and inspectors of the Royal Customs and Excise Department (RCED) received an epaulette upgrade during a roll call ceremony at Kyoto Hall of RCED headquarters on Thursday.

Acting Controller of the RCED Muhammad Azizil Hakim bin Haji Brahim presented the upgrade to the recipients as a sign of seniority in the service and in the value of customs knowledge.

The event aimed to foster closer ties and improve communication between management and its officers and staff, as well as to express appreciation for the team’s commitment to providing the best service to the public. – Ajmal Junit
