Forty-four youth from the Belait District learnt valuable life skills during Kem Belai Remaja at the premises of the Youth and Sports Department in the district.
Among the activities lined up for the participants were sports and a lesson in setting up a tent.
Present to witness the final day of camp yesterday was Acting Chief Executive Officer of Suri Seri Begawan Hospital Abdul Mui’z bin Haji Ibrahim, who was welcomed on arrival by Deputy Chairman and Head of the Youth and Sports Department in Belait District Mohd Shah Johan bin Haji Shari, who later said that the three-day-and-two-night camp was aimed at providing the youth with an opportunity to gain meaningful experiences while learning new skills during the school holidays.
