Forty pints of blood were collected during a donation drive at the Cruise Ship Centre on Wednesday.
The event was part of Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd’s (MPC) corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative in collaboration with Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre.
MPC Chief Finance Officer Lyu Guoli led the campaign and was supported by the Port Community in Muara.
The event’s objectives were to support the community, provide the ‘gifts of life’ through blood donations, promote a healthier lifestyle, and increase of supplies in the country.
The company also vowed to continue to ensure its employees’ health and safety, and undertake community work through social programmes in line with its CSR. – Lyna Mohamad
