Forty residents from Mukim Bokok, Temburong District attended the opening of the Informed Society Programme (PMB) organised by the Information Department at the Temburong District Information Branch yesterday.
Acting Senior Information Officer Saadiatul Nur Aqilah binti Haji Jaman was present at the opening ceremony. Head of Temburong District Information Branch Izzah Hazirah binti Haji Adi Othman outlined the programme’s goals, which were to increase community awareness, improve understanding of entrepreneurship and government initiatives, address unemployment issues and inspire participants through local company visits.
The programme, which focused on ‘Entrepreneurship’, included briefings and visits to government agencies to boost community knowledge and capacity. – Azlan Othman
