3PML recorded their first victory of the season in the Tutong District League following a clinical 4-0 win over Tutong District Amateur Football Association (TDAFA) Under-23 team at the Tutong Sports Complex in the Tutong District yesterday.
Despite staying winless in two matches, 3PML enjoyed a positive start as Muhd Hamdan Awadi opened the scoring inside the opening minute following a tidy low finish into the bottom corner. TDAFA U-23 looked to get back into the game but Md Syahrul Muhibbudin was unable to direct his header towards goal following a set-piece from a teammate.
Md Azril bin Md Ali doubled his side’s lead in the 30th minute before Mohd Aznil bin Md Ali made it 3-0 following a composed finish after being set free in the box. Abang Muhd Fakri Abang Haji Jaludin completed the rout for 3PML with a fourth of the game in the 55th minute.
The next match of the campaign will see unbeaten Tutong Hotspurs FC take on Azmainshah FC today. – Fadhil Yunus
