Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam (OBBD) under Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and CARE Association organised a kayak expedition, from March 21-22, in conjunction with the 39th National Day celebration.
Some 38 kayakers including 15 youth participants took part in the 37 kilometres expedition from Kampong Sungai Besar to Pekan Bangar and passed the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge.
Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin launched the expedition by handing over the national flag to head of the expedition OBBD trainer Jamil bin Haji Jemahat.
