Some 33 members were appointed as the Kampong Kilanas Mosque Takmir Committee for 2023-2025 session following the presentation of appointment letters on Wednesday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, in his capacity as the Kampong Kilanas’ Patron I, was also present.
On hand to present the letters of appointment was Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.
With the appointments, it is hoped that the members would assist mosque officers in the aspect of governance, planning, carrying out and implementing activities that have been outlined with more organisation.
