Some 31 officers and staff of Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) and Muara International Fish Landing Sdn Bhd underwent a three-day fire marshal course from August 8 to 10.
The programme was conducted by the Fire and Rescue Department‘s Public Relations Division of Operation ‘A’ Branch at MPC site in Pekan Muara.
The participants were briefed on the proper use of firefighting equipment, procedures of evacuating a building and fire prevention.
A fire drill was also conducted.
