Some 300 kilogrammes of washed-up trash and rubbish, mainly plastic bottles and packaging materials, were collected by 40 Reliability Services and Solutions Sdn Bhd (RSSB) staff and family members during a cleaning campaign at Pantaiku Ceria in Kuala Belait recently.
The campaign, organised by RSSB, was led by the company’s managing director Elmey Julkeply and operation director Mohamad Azlan bin Haji Tuah.
The campaign was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility activities aimed at creating environmental awareness among the staff and remind them of the importance of keeping the beach clean and free from trash.
“The cleaning campaign will surely not be the last as RSSB is committed to protecting the beach for our future generations to enjoy,” said RSSB QHSE Manager August Anthony.
