300 male recruits complete basic military training

A total of 300 male recruits of the 168th intake of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) concluded their six months of basic military training with a passing out parade at the Training Institute of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) in Penanjong Garrison yesterday.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, as the guest of honour, presented awards to the instructors and recruits.

Among the award recipients were 54367 Recruit (U) Muhammad Hanif Farhan bin Azman for Best Overall Recruit; 54349 Recruit (U) Muhammad Nasruddin bin Nordin for Best Military Skills; 54281 Recruit Mohammad Haffizul Rapaie bin Rapari for Best Light Weapon Recruit and 54280 Recruit Muhd Anwar Arib bin Aminul Amri for Best Physical Training. Meanwhile, 17247 Corporal Eldy bin Saini received the Best Section Commander Award and 17731 Sergeant (U) Mohammad Ismasahril bin Haji Ismail was named the Best Platoon Sergeant.

Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, service commanders and RBAF joint force commander, directors, commandants, senior officers, officers, personnel, parents, and family members were present.
