Some 300 participants gathered for a run to mark International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at Pekan Bangar’s waterfront and Utama Bumiputera Complex area in the Temburong District yesterday.
The event was aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle and participating in family activities to steer clear of drug abuse.
A warm-up session preceded the 10-kilometre run and fun walk.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Chong Chin Yee joined the fun walk themed ‘Visionary Youth Without Drugs’.
