The Mosque Affairs Department through the Muslimah Affairs Division held a funeral management workshop for Muslimah Guidance Class at Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque in Kampong Tungku /Katok.
The workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Brunei-Muara District Mosque Affairs Office and mosque Takmir Committee members.
Some 30 Muslimah in the Brunei-Muara District participated in the workshop, facilitated by two ‘penggapai’ Noradiana binti Haji Md Japar and Norlila binti Mohamad.
The workshop aimed to enhance confidence among participants in handling the proper way of funeral management.
The workshop also aimed to attract Muslimahs’ interest to form groups at the mosque while allowing the public to get penggapai services, particularly those staying in remote areas.
