Some 28 donors bled for a good cause during a blood donation campaign organised by the Lions Club of Belait yesterday.
The campaign hosted in collaboration with the Lions Club of Lambir Miri and the hospital’s Blood Bank Unit was held at the Learning and Development Centre at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital. More than 30 visited the venue, with 28 donating a pint of blood.
Lions Club of Belait President Phyllis Jong and organising chairman Alvin Cheong led the campaign. Eleven members guided donors through the process and handed goodie bags to the donors.
