The Public Relations Division of Operation Branch ‘F’ of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) recently held a fire safety talk for 28 recruits of Setia Protective Security Services (SPSS).
The recruits in training also learnt about the proper way of using a fire extinguisher.
The talk included preparing the recruits in carrying out their duties after completing the training and raising awareness on the danger of fire as well as instilling a sense of responsibility in ensuring fire safety.
The activities also reaffirmed the effectiveness and systematic procedures to enable interaction, cooperation and relationships between the FRD and SPSS.
The FRD provide programmes such as life saver 995 course, fire marshal course as well as fire safety talk to the public to raise awareness on the importance of fire safety and prevention.
