A total of 15 bags of trash were collected during a cleaning campaign participated by 27 Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) undergraduates at Jerudong Beach. The campaign, held as part of the university’s Al-Qudwah group’s corporate social responsibility, was aimed to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030, specifically ‘SDG15 : Life on Land’ and ‘SDG14: Life Underwater’.
The group also hoped that the campaign was a way to raise awareness on the environment and the importance of maintaining a healthy ecosystem. – Fadley Faisal
