27 pints collected at blood donation drive

Twenty-seven pints were collected during a blood donation drive hosted by International School Brunei (ISB) at its campus in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Students aged 18 and above, parents and staff members participated in the blood donation drive organised by ISB in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at the school’s PD Training Room.

The blood donation drive is part of efforts to help replenish blood reserves, while raising awareness on the benefits and importance of donating blood.

Twenty-seven donors, which also included several first-time donors, donated blood and showed support towards the cause.

On behalf of the school, Executive Principal Dr Stephen Kendall-Jones, who was also a donor, thanked staff, parents, and students for their participation and encouragement.

“ISB is delighted to host and donate to the health and wellness of the nation. We hope we can be of service to the medical professionals and patients of Brunei Darussalam,” he said.
