Twenty-five futsal players have joined a three-day selection session for the national squad at the RPN Kampong Mentiri futsal court as an early preparation to compete in regional and international futsal tournaments later this year.
Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail oversaw the selection process and said he is confident that the players will try their best in overseas events.
He believed the selected players will work hard to ensure the national squad will bring glory to the Sultanate.
“This is the time for players to raise the profile of Brunei on the international stage.
“Although it is a huge challenge to face, determination is the catalyst to excellence.”
Meanwhile, chief player selection coordinator Haji Muhammad Abdul Azim bin Haji Zakaria iterated, “The event focuses on the potential of players.”
