A total of 243 female students from Sanah 6 at Sekolah Arab Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit (SA RIPAD) were celebrated Thursday in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony held at the Chancellor Hall of Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

The event marked a significant milestone in the students’ Quranic journey and supports Brunei’s aspiration to nurture a Quran-literate society and develop the nation into a Negara Zikir (a nation that remembers Allah the Almighty).

Present as the special guest was Head of the Arab Schools Division at the Department of Islamic Studies (JPI), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Pengiran Mohamad Aminuddin bin Pengiran Haji Hussin.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah and Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour, followed by a collective recitation of Quranic verses, the Doa Khatam, Takhtim, and Selawat. Participants also performed the Dikir and recited selected surah-surah lazim as part of the ritual.
