21 mukims classified as red zones

With the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the number of mukims in the red zone of over 80 new cases continues to increase.

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at a press conference yesterday, “There are 21 mukims with over 80 positive cases between February 13 and 19.”

They are: Mukim Gadong ‘A’, Mukim Berakas ‘B’, Mukim Gadong ‘B’, Mukim Mentiri, Mukim Sengkurong, Mukim Berakas ‘A’, Mukim Kilanas, Mukim Serasa, Mukim Pengkalan Batu, Mukim Kota Batu, Mukim Lumapas, Mukim Sungai Kebun, Mukim Kianggeh, Mukim Kuala Belait, Mukim Seria, Mukim Liang, Mukim Telisai, Mukim Pekan Tutong, Mukim Keriam, Mukim Kiudang and Mukim Lamunin.

“Seven mukims are orange zones with over 40 cases. They are Mukim Burong Pingai Ayer, Mukim Tamoi, Mukim Bangar, Mukim Bokok, Mukim Batu Apoi, Mukim Amo and Mukim Tanjong Maya.” Three mukims are green zones with no COVID cases – Mukim Kuala Balai, Mukim Sukang and Mukim Melilas.
