The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI), through its Muallaf Development Division (Muallaf Welfare) and Tutong Dakwah Unit, in cooperation with Jeep Owners Group Brunei, donated basic necessities to 21 Muallaf families at Kampong Benutan Mosque in Tutong District on Friday, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).
Head of the Tutong District Unit Dakwah Muhammad Yusrri bin Haji Abdul Majid, Jeep Owners Group Brunei’s Calvin Lo and Kampong Benutan Acting Village Head Haji Muhd Hairol Mazlan bin Haji Abdul Razak presented the donations.
The ministry said the contributions were hoped to provide daily necessities of the recipients, while ensuring the welfare of the less privileged, particularly among Muallaf, are taken care of.
