Information from the Population and Housing Census (BPP) 2021 is now available on an online open data platform, said the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES).
The Interactive Data Visualisation platform was launched to increase access on data for users in line with the digitalisation aspirations of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, said the department.
The Interactive Data Visualisation also helps provide highly requested data on population by geographical distribution.
The Interactive Data Visualisation contains information on the profile of the population, households and housing units based on the findings of the BPP 2021.
This includes summary statistics such on populations, households and occupied housing units, sex ratio and residential status ratio according to the geographical distribution of the country.
The Interactive Data Visualisation can be accessed at https://deps.mofe.gov.bn or https://www.brucensus.gov.bn where users can browse and download the data related to the population profiles.
The Interactive Data Visualisation will be updated from time to time and will include detailed information obtained from the BPP 2021 results, such as economy of the population.
