Two thousand tubs of bubur lambuk were distributed to the public as well as mosques in the Brunei-Muara District during the Ramadhan Bubur Lambuk Perdana programme on Sunday.
The event was organised by the Persatuan Kebajikan Melayu Se-Malaysia (PKMS) in collaboration with the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque (MRSB) takmir committee, Kampong Sungai Akar.
Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, who is also patron of PKMS, attended the distribution as the guest of honour.
MRSB Takmir Committee Patron I Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong and MRSB Takmir Committee Patron II Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin also distributed the porridge.
