Eighteen foreign workers were arrested during a raid on a company in Seria recently, according to the Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD).
Authorities believe the foreign workers had violated terms of their immigration passes and were taken to the department for further investigation.
The department encourages the public to report information on immigration offenders to aid law enforcement activities related to foreign nationals by contacting the INRD hotline at 8734888 or 8753888 for Bandar Seri Begawan or 8984111 for Belait District. – Azlan Othman
