A certificate presentation was held following the completion of the 6th Talaqqi Kitab Turath programme, which ran from August 16, 2023 to April 6, 2024, at Tarbiyah Hall of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) recently. Assistant Ra’es (Academic Affairs) Dr Hajah Norwati binti Haji Abu Bakar presented the certificates to the 18 participants.
The programme aimed at providing a platform for the public to gain more in-depth knowledge on jawi and Kitab Turath via the talaqqi methods.
It also serves as a medium to expose participants to the various styles of jawi writing and Kitab Turath as part of the Islamic knowledge heritage. – Rokiah Mahmud
