More than 150 riders yesterday embarked on an excursion to raise awareness on women’s health and breast cancer.
As part of the first iteration of Ride for Hope, the riders started their journey at Bridex, Jerudong before concluding at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC).
The convoy was led by The Moto & Gincu (TMG) president Norainn binti Mohamad, who told the Bulletin that the group was formed last June to bring together women to share a passion for two wheelers.
The group also aims to unite in diversity and break barriers, with one of the main missions being raising awareness on women’s health issues.
The president expressed hope that Ride for Hope would become an annual event to raise funds towards the Breast Cancer Division of Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre. – Daniel Lim
