In an effort to expand the pool of certified football referees in the country, the Brunei Darussalam Football Referees Association with the cooperation of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) organised the Class 3 Basic Referee Course.
A total of 15 participants comprising physical trainers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in the course.
The four-day long course, which commenced on July 14, ended with a closing ceremony and certificate presentation at the Performance Optimisation Centre, Bolkiah Garrison on Friday.
Local instructor Mohd Hadimin bin Shahbudin, technical referee instructor Pengiran Haji Saiful bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad and fitness referee instructor Senior Inspector Haji Mohd Dzulfikri bin Haji Mohd Taib conducted the course.
Lieutenant Colonel (U) Awang Suhaimi bin Awang Jamali, Director of Performance Optimisation Centre, Ministry of Defence presented the certificates. – FADHIL YUNUS
