15 offences recorded in roadblock

A total of 15 offences were recorded during a roadblock conducted by police personnel of Tutong District at the Muara-Tutong Highway on Tuesday.

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said 507 vehicles were inspected during the operation involving 14 police personnel led by the Acting Officer-in-Charge of Tutong Police Station.

The offences included illegal modification on vehicles, failure to wear seat belts while driving and using dark shades on windows.

The RBPF will continue to work with government enforcement agencies to curb criminal activities and offences in the Sultanate.
