15 join cybersecurity programme in Singapore

The Brunei Cyber Security Association (BCSA) yesterday announced its 1st Overseas Learning Journey (OLJ) programme supported by Cyber Security Brunei and in collaboration with the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP) through Southeast Asia Cybersecurity Consortium (SEACC).

The programme is joined by a delegation of 15 students from Politeknik Brunei (PB), Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) as well as BCSA members.

The programme will take place in Singapore over five days with visits to 11 companies and academic institutions specialising in cybersecurity.

The itinerary includes visits to AiSP, Fortinet, Cisco, Huawei International, Singapore Institute of Technology, Singtel, ITE West, Nanyang Poly, Tenable Singapore, Acronis and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore.

Participants will also attend the CyberSec Conference 2024 hosted by AiSP tomorrow. – Azlan Othman
