15 converts complete guidance scheme

Fifteen new female converts completed the Advanced Guidance Scheme at the closing ceremony for the 36th cohort of the course held at the Belait District Islamic Da’wah Centre on January 31.

Head of the Zakat Collection and Distribution Division at the Belait District Religious Affairs Office Arif Fakhrullah bin A Ramlee was the guest of honour and was welcomed by Head of the Dakwah Unit in the Belait District Zikrinaidah binti Haji Mat Dikir.

The course, which commenced on January 18, saw the women participating in classes led by the centre’s teaching instructors providing guidance and knowledge pertaining to the Islamic faith, ensuring that they follow the practises and teachings in Islam.

The guest of honour presented certificates to the participants as well as commemorative plaques to the top performers in the final examinations – Iman Shahatiqah binti Abdullah Munan, Nur Azlina Azureen binti Abdullah Satu and Erna Farhana binti Abdullah Munan.
